Clinical Supervision

As an LISW who is approved by the NM Board of SW Examiners, I am available to provide Clinical Supervision to colleagues seeking professional licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LISW.

The purpose of supervision according to NASW is to… “enhance the clinical social worker’s professional skills, knowledge, and attitudes in order to achieve competency in providing quality patient care. It aids in professional growth and development and improves clinical outcomes”.

By meeting for 1 hour each week, we will develop a rapport that allows us to build trust and create a safe place to discuss case management and build skills and knowledge to develop and implement intervention strategies for your clients.

We will use the NASW code of ethics to build an individualized learning plan that will guide our work together. We will revisit this plan periodically to ensure that our actions are aligned with our learning plan.  Our meetings will be documented by each of us and we will develop a collaborative contract our individual and shared responsibilities and agreements in our work together.
